Crispy Cheesy Bacon and Chicken Casserole
Having a large family of seven to nourish, I’m frequently shopping around for brand new chicken casserole recipes and quite often I think up a handful of my very own. Casserole dishes tend to be quite simple: rice or pastas + meats + sauce = scrumptious meal.
I put this together on one rather busy weeknight. I'd another chicken casserole planned, however I discovered I didn't have all of the recipes ingredients. And So I altered it a little and came out with a success. This particular Crispy Cheesy Bacon and Chicken Casserole is among our absolute favorites!
Crispy Cheesy Bacon and Chicken Casserole Ingredients
4-5 skinless tender Boneless Chicken Breasts
6 strips of high quality crumbled and cooked bacon
2 cans of Campbell's 98% Fat Free Cream Of Chicken Soup
2 cups of shredded cheese
1 box dried spiral pasta
1 tbsp . garlic powder or minced garlic
Sea salt along with pepper
Crispy Cheesy Bacon and Chicken Casserole Instructions
Cook and then crumble the bacon. While the bacon is still cooking, cut the chicken breasts into bite sized pieces.
Place the cooked bacon aside for later.
Using the very same pan, cook the chicken in the bacon drippings.
Include the garlic powder and also the pepper and salt to taste.
Whilst the chicken is still cooking, get ready the pasta based on the directions.
Spray a Pre-Seasoned Cast-Iron Skillet using non stick cooking spray.
Strain the pasta, and then return to pot.
Include the chicken breasts, both the cans of cream of chicken soup, a cup of cheese - and then stir to combine well.
Pour into a well prepared Baking Dish .
Top using the crumbled bacon.
Top with the left over cup of cheese.
Cook at 400 for around 20 mins, only until the cheese has melted and is starting to brown on the top.
